Submission to local authorities departments to gain statutory approval to develop is not simply a requirement for new-builds and change of use, it is often needed in all types of building works from alterations to listed buildings and external signage and shopfronts. Submissions require consistent communication with Local Authorities and an understanding of urban development and knowledge of Local Development Frameworks as well as National Policies.
